My broad political issues New Zealand needs to be a leader in dealing with Climate Change. As a nation we need to take responsibility for, and reduce our Greenhouse gas emissions. We must also take leadership in the Pacific and help our neighbours adapt to the future climate.
We must be careful with our precious resources, and not poison our waters, rivers and streams. I want my children to be able to be able to swim in the rivers, surf at the beaches, and eat food from the garden without having to worry about soil or water quality.
Additional information I have been lucky enough to live and work in a wide variety of countries including, Sweden, Canada, Italy, UK and Germany. These experiences have given me the chance to see how things can be done differently, and what we as Kiwis should be proud of. We have the opportunity not to make mistakes that have been made elsewhere, and to develop our country in a way that protects the environment and respects diversity and tolerance.
