Current member: Forest & Bird, Soil & Health, Sustainable Otautahi Christchurch. Greenpeace (2000-2008), London Cycling Campaign (1993-1999). Marched against Iraq war (2003), anti globalisation (1999 London), numerous other rallies. STV campaign CCC 2003. Organised events such as Car Free Day. Council submissions on transport, gambling, housing, water issues. Regular letter writer to Press / Radio NZ.

Policy Interests/Expertise Policy interests driven by life experiences and research: Energy and Transport, Climate Change, Democracy and Justice, Green Economics and Local Business, Water and Waste, Housing and Urban Development, Information Technology.

My broad political issues Constrained energy supplies, water limits, income disparity and threats to our democracy define challenges we face to win our supporters' hearts and minds. We must green the political process to match the greening of society and abandon the current fixation with growth, focusing on quality of life for all within environmental limits.

Additional information Car free advocate of urban cycling. Nine years in UK demonstrated value of MMP. Built own eco home, enjoy homegrown organic food. Produced creative campaign materials, including Vote-For-Me bookmarks (2008) and Rod Donald's electorate leaflet (2005).
