Community connections I was brought up in Mt Albert, Auckland. I went to school at Gladstone Primary School, St Kentigern's Intermediate and then Mt Albert Grammar School.
I am a keen sportsman and enjoy tramping with my wife and paddling on the Auckland harbour. I love the outdoors.
Green Party experience I have been a member for the last 3 years and have written submissions. I have marched to oppose genetic engineering, mining in our conservation estate and have participated in the "Get Across" march over the Harbour Bridge.
Policy Interests/Expertise I am interested in policy that will address and fix the problems associated with climate change. We need to encourage the switch to renewable energy and embrace smart green solutions that will create local jobs. I am looking forward to a smart sustainable economy, a healthy environment and prosperity for all New Zealanders.
My broad political issues We need to change how we measure progress as a society if we are going to move forward as a country. I want New Zealand to be clean green, safe and fair.
