How the government's drive for a low wage economy affects us all - and what we can do about it. Jan Logie and Denise Roche, Green Party MPs, are on a national tour to highlight the impact of the government's funding cuts and policy reforms on our communities.Based on the increasingly popular Pecha Kucha format, we'll have a series of fast-paced presentations from a range of speakers from different organisations including those representing Women, Workers, Disabled People, Youth, Children, Refugee and Migrant communities, Māori, Pasifika, the Mental Health community, Problem Gambling and more.

A light supper will be provided.
Please RSVP to conor.twyford@parliament.g ovt.nz or marie.retimanu-pule@parlia ment.govt.nz

Please advise if you require a NZSL interpreter for this meeting.

Pecha Kucha events consist of up to a dozen presentations, each presenter having 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds on a timer. Each presenter has just 6 minutes and 40 seconds to explain their ideas before the next takes the stage. The format keeps presentations concise and fast-paced and is being used increasingly as a way for people to meet, show their work, exchange ideas, and network.
