Green MPs to support Fairness at Work Rallies this weekend

When:

Sat, 21/08/2010 - 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Where:

QE2 Square, Civic Square Wellington, Cathedral Square and the Octagon

Come along and show your support with our Green MPs for the Fairness at Work Rallies. This protest is being organised by the Council of Trade Unions (CTU). The National Government are planning a raft of unfair changes to industrial relations that will result in unfair dismissal of workers and reduced access to union support and membership. They are planning to give employers the right to require a medical certificate from workers who have only taken one day off work. All these changes undermine worker's rights and give greater opportunity for bad employers to exploit their employees.

Come along and let the Key Government know we demand fairness at work!
