Location: The venue for the conference and AGM is Te Mahurehure Marae at 73 Premier Ave, Pt Chevalier. Click here for map. The marae is 296m from the corner of Premier Ave and Great North Road.

Public Transport: Several buses go from the Britomart Transport Centre in Queen Elizabeth Square and travel along Great North Rd. Journey time is about 18-20 mins and the cost is $3.40 for two stages. The stop is 1060 Great North Rd and then there is a walk of 600 metres to the venue. The best place to get bus information is on: www.maxx.co.nz. Please remember that Monday is a public holiday so buses will be traveling a little less often.

Click here for detailed information for travel from the airport to the venue.

Train: Auckland usually closes train services over holiday weekends so this won't be a reliable way to travel. Check www.maxx.co.nz for details.

Car: As we are using a marquee in the carpark area, there will be very limited parking on site reserved for people who need an accessible carpark. Limited parking is available on the street, but if you would like a pleasant walk to start the day, plenty of free parking is available at the TAPAC/Western Springs carpark on Motions Rd, on the left after Auckland zoo.

Accommodation: 40 mattresses and pillows are available in the upstairs sleeping area at the marae on a first come first served basis. Sheets and pillow cases are supplied but you will need to bring other bedding and a towel. The sleeping space is one room so bring ear plugs and anything else you need to help you sleep.

There is one accessible toilet/sink on site, but no accessible shower - the shower by the accessible toilet has a large rim around it stopping a wheel chair getting in. Please note there are stairs and no lift to the sleeping area. There is one sleeping space available in an accessible area. Please let us know if you would like to book this.
