Special message to the Bay of Plenty
First and foremost, we'd like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to everyone affected in the Bay of Plenty. What's happening is an awful tragedy, and we just want you to know that everyone here at the Green Party send their hopes and best wishes to you all. In times like this, it's hard to know what to do to help.
We've put together a webpage which has all the latest information about the spill, and essential links and phone numbers if you are one of those who are affected, or if you are looking to volunteer to help. Tragedies like this impact every Kiwi, and it's important to remember how precious our natural environment is.
Funding the Green Party Overseas Campaign: You can help!
It's important that everyone gets their say at this year's election, and since so many Kiwis are living overseas these days it's essential to contact them all to make sure they have their say in the future of out country.
We're aiming to contact all Kiwis living overseas, and we'd love to be able to assemble support teams of volunteers in key cities around the world to campaign for the Green Party.
With your generous support, we can achieve this! Please help by donating today.
Please note: People who are living overseas who are not New Zealand citizens can donate a maximum of $1500. New Zealand citizens living overseas: you can donate as much as you like!
In the loop - Chrissy pressies which support the Green Party!
Support efficient inner-city public transport – and our campaign!
Live in Auckland? Know an Aucklander? Thinking about Christmas presents? This is the indisputably essential summer t-shirt for 'fashion activists' who think Auckland should have a well-run and complementary big-city transit system.
With designs based on famous subway or metro signs, they make a statement with crisp, stylish designs. Plus for every t-shirt sold via this Campaign Countdown, they will give $10 to the Green campaign!
Simply order at the website, and enter 'Green Party' in the special delivery instructions field.
Meet two candidates
This election year, we'd love to get more of our diverse and passionately hard-working candidates into parliament than ever before!
Last Campaign Countdown, we introduced you to Mojo Mathers. Now meet two more of our fantastic people: Julie-Anne Genter, the MPs' current transport advisor,, running for the Mt. Roskill electorate, and James Shaw, a successful and widely-respected businessman running for Wellington Central.
Our campaign priorities - interpreted for the hearing impaired
We made this video last week to communicate our campaign with members of the deaf community. Please feel free to send this to anyone who you know who is hearing impaired, and might otherwise be feeling left out of the elections process.
A message for members of the Deaf community from the Green Party Co-Leader Metiria Turei
