Sunday 6th November, 11:15 AM at The Boatshed, Taranaki Wharf, Wellington RSVP on Facebook and spread the word! You can also also support our campaign by clicking the image above for a Facebook or Twitter profile picture. Green Room - view onlineSo, did you catch it? The Green Party set a challenge to the John Key/Phil Goff election debate on TVNZ last Monday by holding an interactive online programme called Green Room at the same timee. It was an enormous success! Over 6000 of you tuned in live to the panel discussion and the Co-leaders' debate. Our Twitter hashtag #greenroom consistently out-trended TVNZ's debate tags for days after the debates, proving how important it is to hear from all parties in the political spectrum, and showing just how positively people respond to more constructive viewing choices! If you missed it, you can watch and SHARE with others the recordings on YouTube:
Finlay MacDonald interviews Green Party Co-leaders Russel Norman and Metiria Turei during the John Key/Phil Goff election debate. An online panel discussion with David Slack, Irene Pink and Nandor Tanczos, which ran concurrently with the John Key/Phil Goff election debate. Opening broadcastWe hoped that you have enjoyed watching this on TV1 last week. If you missed it, you can see it on Youtube with captions (which you can turn off with the little CC button on the player window). If you liked it, please share it with others - it is our campaign in a nutshell, and we need to use our people power to get it out there. Do you know any "wildly unpredictable swing voters?" email this link to them. : ) Crucial volunteer rolesHandy with a hammer? We need people to join our Hoarding Teams across the country erecting our FINAL lot of election signs. If you have a van, that would make you doubly, triply useful to us! Meet a candidate
Are we doing well?By all accounts, yes! This is the first time this year that we have got over 10% in the Herald Poll. And our Co-leaders are really doing a magnificent job when they get to the media. But you might have noticed that we are getting crowded out again in the media. The only way we can combat this is to increase our visibility through paid advertising. We reeeeeaaaaaally need your help here. Any dollar you can give will be put to good use. Donate now. Thank you for being Green. Ka kite ano,
Megan Salole I’m always happy to receive your feedback and input (although as things crank up, my ability to respond to all requests will diminish). |
