New Zealanders are proud of our heritage as an egalitarian society where everyone gets a fair go, and we need to make sure we preserve this heritage.
Tomorrow, GST goes up to 15 percent, and John Key’s new tax changes come into effect.
Kiwis already struggling to get by will be hit hard. They’ll have to pay more for the basics, but they won’t get the big tax cuts. The result will be an even bigger gap between those who have the most and those who need the most.
