On Sunday we launched our plan to make our rivers and lakes clean enough to swim in again.

Our kids have a birthright to swim in our rivers and lakes, but our waterways are now so polluted that we risk losing this precious heritage.

We have three simple steps to clean up our rivers:

1. Set standards for clean water and intensive agriculture;
2. Introduce a fair charge for irrigation water; and
3. Support water clean-up initiatives.

These are achievable, affordable solutions, and we're really proud of them. Find out more about our plan online.
