Kia ora The Green Party is a key part of the coalition that this week launched a citizens initiated referendum to stop the sale of our publicly owned power companies. The referendum will give you and other New Zealanders the chance to send the Government a message on the sale of assets. You can make a difference. Previous referendum results have influenced Government policy. This one can too. If you want to get involved let us know. The question must first be signed off by the Clerk of Parliament, hopefully in the next month. More information and petition forms will be coming soon and we need your help to spread the word.
