“If we are to have any kind of future we must begin to treat the planet and its people with respect.”
While an MP, Nandor's portfolios were: Commerce, Communications, Constituional Issues, Courts and Corrections, Electoral Reform, Environment, Forestry, IT, Justice, Land Information, Statistics, Sustainable Land Management, Waste, Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

I give thanks and praise unto the Most High Jah Ras Tafari. I give greetings to all in the name of the Holy Trinity—the Almighty Father, the Divine Mother, and the Child that is love made life. I greet the members of this House for the last time as one of them. I greet those in the gallery, and I thank them for honouring me with their presence, especially my beloved Ngahuia Murphy.
Nine years ago, no one would have expected to see a rastafarian MP. Nine years later, again, no one would have expected how practical and engaged the outsider and firebrand would prove to be. In typical Nandor fashion, he spoke from the heart, letting all MPs know what he thought of them and the institution he has served so well. Make sure you watch through to the timely conclusion. Just dropping you a line to say that I will be making my valedictory speech to Parliament next Thursday (26th June) at 5.30pm and giving up my seat. I'll do my best to make it memorable ;)
Green Party MP Nandor Tanczos valedictory speech and Green Party Co-Leader Russel Norman's maiden speech have been scheduled for the upcoming fortnight.
