16 Jun 2008New Zealand University Students' Association (NZUSA) The NZUSA is a federation of student associations and the largest student body in the country. NZUSA advocates for the common and collective concerns of students.
Aotearoa Tertiary Students' Association (ATSA) The ATSA is a National students' association was formed to represent students from institutions around New Zealand. Our role is to represent the concerns of tertiary students on a national level through lobbying government. ATSA also provides support and training to associations on a local level.
Association of University Staff (AUS) The Association of University Staff is the union representing the industrial and professional interests of over 6,000 staff employed in universities across New Zealand.
Association of Staff in Tertiary Education (ASTE) The Association of Staff in Tertiary Education Te Hau Takitini o Aotearoa (ASTE) represents more than 4,000 staff within the tertiary education sector of New Zealand. ASTE is actively involved in a wide range of issues relevant to tertiary educators. This includes promoting the need for increased funding of the sector, protecting the health and safety of members and proactively bargaining for better working conditions.
