Funding for integrated plans to reduce emissions and water pollution

Budget 2019 is making significant progress on New Zealand’s transition to sustainable agriculture and reducing our emissions.

Budget 2019 puts $186.5 million into improving water quality, strengthening our RMA, and planting out more waterways and wetlands.

Our wellbeing relies on our agriculture getting support to make the changes needed to keep temperature rise to less than 1.5 degrees.

The Green Party believes in a just transition that will support a sustainable economy, build a fair society, and support a healthy environment.
