We've done this before — and we can do it again. 

From what we have already achieved together this year, we know our communities have what it takes to overcome something that is bigger than each of us alone. 

Taking precautions is our responsibility to protect our whānau and the most vulnerable people in our communities. We are proud to be part of a government that is prioritising public health and safety. We will continue working hard to ensure that all of us have what we need as we move back up alert levels — that includes access to good healthcare, financial support, and the paid time off that we need to get through this.
