Jeanette Fitzsimons, former Green Party Co-leader, was a taonga of the green movement and her passing was felt deeply across the Green Party and beyond.

This July, a public memorial service remembered and honoured who she was, what she stood for, and the inspirational legacy she cultivated. To help us celebrate Jeanette's life, please click below to watch a special recording of the memorial service.

The memorial brings together many parts of her life that made Jeanette so special and honoured them through a programme of her favourite songs, her most poignant speeches, and the words of those who knew her best including former Green Party co-leader Metiria Turei, former Australian Greens leader Bob Brown, Green Party MP Gareth Hughes, former Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment Dr. Morgan Williams, and other distinguished colleagues and friends.
