Join Julie Anne Genter, Green MP, as she speaks about the current legal and political framework around mental health, well-being and drug law reform — and what the Green Party will change.

Julie Anne will be joined by leading researcher Dr Suresh Muthukumaraswamy to talk about his cutting-edge research in New Zealand.

University of Auckland’s Dr Suresh Muthukumaraswamy is a world-renowned expert on the effects of psychedelics on the brain and will discuss the latest research on the potential impact of psychedelics on a wide range of mental health conditions.

Julie Anne will also be joined by Dr Gary H. Wynn, a consultant psychiatrist and senior medical official for the Capital and Coast District Health Board.

He is an expert in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and a Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience with appointments at Yale University and the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Dr Wynn will discuss his clinical experience in treating individuals with alternative modalities as well as his experience as a consultant to several pharmaceutical companies in North America.
