Ko Ngāi Tahu te iwi. Ko Ngāi Tūāhuriri te hapū. Kei te noho au ki Ōtautahi. Ko Mike Davidson tōku ingoa (he/him).

As a Christchurch City Councillor for the last six years, I led the development of the city's new sustainable transport plan and Coastal Hazards Adaptation Framework. I championed the city's cycleways network and was a strong advocate for a more dense urban form, for biodiversity and the health of our waterways.

I have an environmental science degree and previously worked for the Earthquake Commission. I strongly believe in our obligations to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the need for a just transition as we mitigate and adapt to the challenges of climate change.

I bring political experience with excellent knowledge of local government, transport and urban planning.

This election I am running in the Ilam electorate and your support will help us turn Ilam and Ōtautahi Christchurch Green.
