If you are an experienced manager who is passionate about working for a greener and fairer New Zealand, then this might be your dream job.
The Green Party is looking for a very special General Manager to lead the non-parliamentary Party into our next stage of development. The Party is a membership-based organisation with a small paid staff and a large volunteer base. The non-parliamentary Party is responsible for the election campaign, internal democracy, fundraising, financial management, IT, support of local branches, and compliance with legal requirements.
To be successful, you will be a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic, complex environment and maintains their composure under pressure. Your political savvy and campaigning background have meant you are well-placed to help the Green Party grow its ability to make a difference. You are known for your rapport with others, and your ability to manage staff ethically for great results. You are confident with IT and can work with experts and contractors to ensure the organisation’s platforms are fit for purpose.
Reporting to the Party’s elected Co-convenors, the role will be based in our Party offices in Garrett St, off of Wellington’s vibrant Cuba St.
