Portfolios

The Government is currently taking public submissions on what its proposed trade agenda – Trade for All – should look like. I’ve submitted calling for 21st century trade policy that moves New Zealand into a new era of international trade, and focuses on prioritising the things that really matter to New Zealanders.

If you’re interested, you can make a submission yourself, closing Sunday 14 October.

Portfolios

“Like many New Zealanders, I am incredibly keen to see the results of the Mental Health and Addictions Inquiry Report.

“The sheer volume of submissions and evidence gathered at public forums demonstrates how passionate our communities are about addressing the mental health crisis in this country.

“I am disappointed that the Inquiry is not reporting back on time, but if an extra month is needed to properly consider the huge swathes of evidence, then it should not be rushed.
