Peter Sykes has been a community advocate in Mangere for over 30 years. He has been active in community leadership as CEO of ME Family Services, and in building collaborative action around intergenerational wellbeing, education, health and disability, inclusion of those on the margins, and the environment.

Peter is married to Vicki, and have lived in Mangere for 33 years. They have 3 married children and 6 moko.

Peter has been a Values Party member and Green supporter for many years. Working for resilient regenerative people and place, his personal values resonate closely with the charter and values of the Green Party.
