End Poverty

End Poverty

Our social support system is broken, meaning families are living in poverty thanks to unfair sanctions and low payments.

It’s time to change all that and put aroha and compassion back into how we support our most vulnerable.

The Government is currently reviewing the social support system, which means right now we have a historic opportunity to overhaul it. The Green Party is calling for policy changes which will support our communities and lift people out of poverty - find out more by joining our campaign.

The Green Party's vision is for all our families to have what they need to thrive. Everyone will have a safe, warm and dry house. People will have decent incomes that give them stability and choice. And our schools will be truly inclusive.
