I have lived and worked in Rural North Canterbury as a GP since emigrating with my family from the UK in 1986, and this is my third run as Green Party candidate for the mighty Kaikōura electorate. I live in a very rural electorate but am convinced that, with goodwill on both sides, we can work together with the farming community so they can be the heroes in protecting our precious environment and biodiversity. I am standing because it is more important than ever to elect as many Green MPs as possible to get into a Government and take the bold, exciting and positive action for justice for the planet and the people.
