Get your hands dirty and help us transform our city in a tangible way. Muck in with Chlöe Swarbrick and the Greens Auckland Central campaign planting trees at the Waiheke's Rangihoua Wetland (Onetangi* Sports Ground) for a few hours of community building and natural restoration with great kai, great drinks, and great company. Please wear boots and bring a rain jacket, but we'll provide all the planting gear cheers to Waiheke Resources Trust!
If you're coming over from the city, you're welcome to join a few of the team headed across on the ferry - we'll update you on logistics closer to the time!
LOCATION NOTE:
The Sports Ground and planting area is a short walk from the 502 bus or any other of the buses (get off at the turn off to Rocky Bay). The bus takes approx. 20mins from Matiatia (Ferry Terminal!). *Please note Rangihoua wetland and the Onetangi Sports Ground is not at Onetangi Beach itself.
