GreenLeft Network (GLN) AGM 2021 - ONLINE VOTING AND ZOOM AGM

**NOTE: THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR BOTH ONLINE VOTING FOR THE EXEC ELECTIONS AND FOR THE ZOOM AGM**

The 2021 GLN AGM is open to all current members of the GLN. Registration is required in order to attend. Registration will close at midday on Thursday 11 February.

You may register either:
1) to attend both the full AGM (via Zoom!) and to vote for the exec (online); or
2) only for the component consisting of voting for the exec (online).

TIME AND PLACE OF AGM

The AGM will be held at 7:30pm on Thursday 18 February

It will be conducted via Zoom! in order to allow members to attend regardless of location.

You will be advised of the Zoom! code by email after close of registrations.

ELECTING THE EXEC

Voting will be conducted online via ElectionRunner. If you would like to vote, please ensure that you register with a unique email address that is not shared by any other registrant, as only one set of voting codes can be sent to each email address.

Voting will open at the same time as the rest of the AGM (7:30pm Thursday 18 February) and will remain open for 24 hours until 7:30pm Friday 19 February.

NOMINATING THE EXEC

As stipulated by the Rules of Operation, the exec roles are:

- two convenors (one woman, one of any gender)
- equity officer
- membership secretary
- parliamentary liaison
- policy officer
- community activist lead
- Te Tirti officer
- communications officer
- chair (non-voting)

For full details of these roles, including job descriptions and any other stipulations, please see the Rules of Operation which have been emailed out and can be found on our facebook page.

If you're interested in standing and have any questions, feel free to email Paul or make contact with another member of the current exec.

Please do think about who would be great for these roles, and encourage anyone who you think would be suitable to stand!

Nominations will close at midnight on Sunday 31 January 2021.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Members may submit any other business (remits, proposals, amendments to existing documents) for the AGM. These will be discussed using a consensus-based process at the AGM itself, and so you must register for the full AGM via Zoom! to discuss these.

FULL SCHEDULE

For ease of reference, please see the dates and deadlines below:

31 January, midnight - nominations and remits must be received (send all nominations and remits to [email protected])

11 February, midday - names of candidates and remits circulated to membership. Registration closes.

18 February, 7:30pm - the Zoom! discussion portion and voting of the AGM both open. Please note that registrants will receive information about how to join the Zoom! and/or vote in the days prior, after registration has closed and once the exec has confirmed their membership status.

19 February, 7:30pm - online voting closes.

20 February - results of AGM announced.
