"All people have the power to make change"
With less than a month till the election, we are putting in the mahi to ensure Green values are at the heart of the post-election government. Across Aotearoa we will be making thousands of calls and knocking on thousands of doors in order to have conversations that matter.
We have a big goal in mind, but we know that with you by our side we can make it happen. Can we count on you to join us to help spread our message to voters?
Don’t worry if you’ve never made calls before — calling is easy even for the newest callers. We’ll provide you with a script and messaging resources. And the best part is, if you can't make one of our events in person you can start calling by joining an event virtually on Zoom, you’ll be joining hundreds of other members of our Green team on the phones. All you'll need is a laptop, headphones and an internet connection!
Calling and talking to voters isn’t about answering tough policy questions (that’s what our MPs and candidates are for!) It’s about changing minds and shifting votes through heartfelt conversations about the Aotearoa we want to see.
We will start with Training for those who need it, and then move on to calling.
To join the meeting you will use our Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5624215662?pwd=bDFkc3RGZHdUZW9LcEZUZVFlUVBLUT09. Keep an eye on your inbox, we'll remind you 1 hour before the meeting.

- Headphones with a microphone, or a phone with spare minutes
Come along to our calling in a small group in the office - where we will talk to voters about the upcoming election! If you haven't done calling before we'll give you a full training before hand. Its a really fun and interesting way to help our campaign from home and continue our grassroots movement for Chlöe and the Green Party in 2020!
You will need your own laptop or computer.
Come along, get trained, and start having conversations with our supporters!
Research shows over and over again that one-to-one conversations are the best way for us to win votes and create Green change.
And it's even fun once you get the hang of it. :-)
If you've never done this before that's awesome! Show up at 6:15 and we'll get you sorted.
If you've done training or calling before turn up just before 7.
You're going to need a:
- computer with internet access
- phone with minutes you can donate to the cause
- quiet space to do calling
- desire to change the world!
We meet up on Zoom at the start and come back for a debrief here:
Are you an Auckland Central voter who is unsure or undecided about who to vote for this election? Come and meet Chlöe and hear why a Party Vote for the greens and a local vote for Chlöe is the best way to guarantee positive progressive change for our city and our country's future.
