NationBuilder Advanced Training

Join the meeting here: https://zoom.us/j/98738600300

NationBuilder is our campaigning database. It’s the nerve centre for all our other apps (Like CallHub, which we use for calling). It’s where all our crucial voter and volunteer information lives. It keeps track of who we’ve contacted and when we contacted them, shows us who likes us and who doesn’t. You can use NationBuilder for everything from creating lists for door-knocking or volunteer recruitment, RSVPing people to events, data entry, and more.

This is an Advanced Training for those who are Data Managers in their local campaigns, or anyone who wants to take their Nationbuilder knowledge a little further. You should have completed one of our Beginners trainings or have some prior knowledge in NationBuilder.

Join this training session to:

  1. Have a brief refresher on NationBuilder basics
  2. Learn about filters and how to create your own
  3. Learn how to create your own event and RSVP people to it

To join the meeting you will need a Zoom password. Keep an eye on your inbox, and we'll share the password 1 hour before the meeting.

Campus Greens Ōtepoti Campaign Culture Hui

Around the world the increased political interest from young voters is changing the way we do politics. From Bernie Sanders to the Youth Quake in the UK and the Global Student Strike for Climate we are seeing a growing movement of people who are willing to fight for social and ecological justice.

Jack Brazil (26) is part of this movement. Increasingly frustrated with government inaction Jack Brazil, last year, quit his job to become a full time activist. Instead devoting his time to working with groups such as Environmental Justice Ōtepoti, XR Ōtepoti, 350 Ōtepoti, Oil Free Otago and most notably taking on the role of the media spokesperson on the successful campaign against oil giant OMV lead by Greenpeace.

This year Jack has decided to take on the politicians in their own turf standing as 1 of 8 young candidates on the Green Party List.

Ōtepoti Dunedin has one of the youngest populations in Aotearoa, that's why they need a young MP to represent their interest in Parliament.

We need your help to build a vibrant flax-roots campaign that is focused on building the community movement, calling for radical changes in government to create the social and ecological justice that we want to see in the world.

With your help we can create our own youth quake right here in Ōtepoti.

This interactive zui will be a chance to meet Jack and be a part of creating goals for the campaign and talking strategies and tactics to get it done
