The Green Party will put Te Tiriti o Waitangi at the heart of a modern Aotearoa founded on real partnership. That means governing structures upholding the rangatiratanga of iwi and hapū, and providing dignity for all. We can achieve this by demonstrating true partnership between tangata whenua and the Crown, as intended by Te Tiriti.

Equity is at the heart of everything that we do. That means an economy that shares wealth fairly. Public funding should go to where it’s needed most: healthcare, education, housing, resilient infrastructure. A system built on making sure everyone has what they need.

Everything is connected. The health of our environment, the strength of our communities, and the wellbeing of our people are not separate issues.

When one is harmed, we are all affected. When everyone is cared for, we thrive together.
