Green MP Jan Logie is in Ōtautahi Christchurch this Tuesday 27 April

(apologies for short notice...)

Calling all Green women members...

This short meeting is a chance for women Green Members to catch up with Jan, and to discuss possible changes to the Green Party Constitution in relation to the present Green co-leadership model of one woman and one man. Here is a link to Constitution Document

Issue 1 - Co-leadership Split

We are asked to Consider the co-leadership model, your aspirations for diversity in our leadership, and the practicability of electing people to fulfil roles.

What model of co-leadership do you think is the best for our party? Some possibilities to consider are:

  1. One woman and one man (status quo)
  2. One woman and one of a different gender (cannot be two women)
  3. One woman and one of any gender (could be two women)
  4. Two people of any gender (could be any combination)

Are there other factors we should consider when we consider the co-leadership split; for example, at least one tangata whenua (where possible)?
