No New Mines on Conservation Land
New Zealanders are proud of our conservation estate. Our native forests, mountains, rivers, coastlines, and marine reserves are unique to our country, internationally recognised and deeply valued by communities across Aotearoa.
Conservation land has been set aside to be preserved and protected for the benefit of all New Zealanders, and we have heard the outpouring of messages and submissions that New Zealanders expect it to be managed in accordance with that purpose.
