Geordie Rogers has served as Pukehīnau/Central Ward Councillor on Wellington City Council since 2024.
During that time, he has led the decarbonisation of our pools, reducing our emissions and saving us money. As councillor, he continues to invest in our public and active transport to leave a world where our tamariki can thrive.
Geordie is also a stalwart advocate for healthy and affordable housing, having previously been the President of Renters United. Over his tenure on Council, he has secured better support for renters, allowed more housing in our District Plan and supported the construction of 183 new affordable apartments in our city centre.
