When migrants move from one country to another, there are limits on how much one can take, and difficult choices are made about what treasured reminders of home to bring. Family photos, everyone dressed in their best fits, are small, but precious memories.
Come along to have a free family portrait and spend the morning with Green Party candidates:
Ricardo Menéndez March, Green Party MP, list and Mt Albert Electorate candidate, and spokesperson for immigration and social development
Yasmine Serhan, Green Party list and Glendene Electorate candidate, Early Childhood Education kaiako (teacher), union organiser, and first Palestinian running for Parliament in Aotearoa
This community event will operate as a drop-in, enabling families to come in at a time that suits to take a family portrait. The portraits are free and electronic copies will be provided.
Everyone is welcome!
Tea, coffee, and snacks (maamoul and baklawa) will be served.
