The GLN SGM for 27 July 2021 is open to all current members of the GLN. Registration is required in order to attend. Registration will close at 5:00pm on Tuesday 20 July.
You may register either:
1) to attend both the full SGM (via Zoom!) and to vote for the exec (online); or
2) only for the component consisting of voting for the exec (online).

TIME AND PLACE OF SGM
The SGM will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday 27 July
It will be conducted via Zoom! in order to allow members to attend regardless of location.
You will be advised of the Zoom! code by email after close of registrations.

ELECTING THE EXEC
Voting will be conducted online through ElectionRunner. If you would like to vote, please ensure that you register with a unique email address that is not shared by any other registrant, as only one set of voting codes can be sent to each email address.
Voting will open at the same time as the rest of the SGM (7:30pm Tuesday 27 July) and will remain open for 24 hours until 7:30pm Wednesday 28 July.
As guided by the Green Party Standing Orders, a 75% majority is required for election if the position is uncontested (i.e. only a single candidate is standing).

NOMINATING THE EXEC
Elections for all vacant Executive positions will be conducted as part of this SGM. The vacant positions are:
- Co-convenor (woman)
- Co-convenor (any gender)
- Community Activist Lead
- Chair (non-voting)
As well as four vacant roles, an election will also be conducted for one role where the current office holder is intending to stand for a different role:
- Parliamentary Liaison
Nominations are now open for these positions and will close at 5:00pm on Tuesday 13 July.

For ease of reference, please see the dates and deadlines below:
13 July, 5:00pm - nominations must be received (send all nominations to [email protected])
20 July, 5:00pm - names of Exec candidates and agenda circulated to membership. Registration closes.
27 July, 7:30pm - the Zoom SGM begins and voting of the SGM both open. Please note that registrants will receive information about how to join the Zoom and/or vote in the days prior, after registration has closed and once the exec has confirmed their membership status.
28 July, 7:30pm - online voting closes.
29 July - results of SGM announced.
