Join Ōtāhuhu electorate candidate, Te Whatanui Leka Skipwith for a good old-fashioned garage get-together. A space to rest, recharge, reconnect and strengthen our community relationships including:
- Music and fun activities for the kids, young and old
- Custom tohu up-cycled merch, patches and prints for sale
- Hot hāngī (pre-order yours before 12 October Hāngī Order Form for Our Hood, Our Home) and other home baking for sale
- A māra kai workshop with a free seedling to take home
- Support to get you and your whānau enrolled
At 1.30pm, we'll have Hari Narayan from Gardens4Health join us to run our māra kai workshop. We know how important it is for our community to be able to grow their own kai, and we'll learn from Hari how we can all do this no matter how much or little space you have.
So come through, collect your hāngī, stay and relax, listen to music, learn how you can grow veges, grab some merch, get enrolled and make some new friends.
