Join Ōtāhuhu electorate candidate, Te Whatanui Leka Skipwith for some arts and crafts, with a dose of voter calling!
There's something for everyone!
- Want to upgrade your gears with a custom design print?
- Are you keen to paint some election signs?
- Do you enjoy planting and gardening?
- Would you like to phone our voters?
Event overview:

First hour
- Welcome, sign-in and whakawhanaungatanga
- Printing and up-cycling clothes, painting election signs & organising planting materials
- Short break

Second hour
- Kōrero with voters to hear what they love about our neighbourhood, learning more about the issues they care about and building support for Greens
- Debrief, closing and pack down
Please bring:
- One pre-loved clothing item (light colours work best) that you would like to upgrade with Te Whatanui's custom design
- Cardboard, corflute, acrylic paint and paint brushes if you have some
- A laptop and headphones with a microphone if you're keen to phone voters
Traffic and parking FYI: The amazing Ōtara Markets will be happening too, so please allow time for parking or jump on a bus.
No experience is required, full training and light refreshments will be provided.
Please help us keep our people-powered campaign healthy – please do not attend if you're sick.
