I've voted before, am I still enrolled?

Not necessarily! If the Electoral Commission believes you no longer reside at your registered address (typically because of returned mail), you could have been placed on the dormant roll. While you can still place a special vote from the dormant roll, if you're on the dormant roll for more than 3 years, the Electoral Commission will remove you from the Electoral Roll and you won't be able to vote.

To avoid being removed from the Electoral Roll make sure your enrolment details are up-to-date. You can go to the vote.nz website and check your enrolment details.

Don't take your enrolment for granted - it's always safest to check.
