Come lend a helping hand at the Green stall!

The Halo Halo Filipino Festival is back for 2025, and we're looking for volunteers to help support our MPs, Francisco Hernandez and Benjamin Doyle, at the Green Party stall.

When: Saturday 30th August 9 am - 5:30 pm

Where: Claudelands Event Centre

Bring:

  • Yourself
  • Your best Green outfit!

How to help?

There are three time slots to fill, so even if you can only do a little bit for a little while, it would be great to have you along. You'll still be able to enjoy the good vibes and amazing community offerings throughout the day.

✍🏽 Shifts will include tasks like packing in or packing down, and repping the Party, where you'll be:

  • greeting members of the public,
  • encouraging them to sign any active petitions,
  • supporting them to enrol to vote in local body elections,
  • and handing out stickers and flyers.

🎉 This is the biggest Filipino Street Food Festival in the Waikato, a major part of the Hamilton Southeast Asia Festival NZ 2025, where you can celebrate the Philippines with hundreds of food and drink options and non-stop entertainment!
