Dr. Elizabeth Kerekere will be launching the local Māori campaign in Ōtepoti/Dunedin this Saturday 11th July!!

In the morning, Dr. Elizabeth Kerekere, the Kaiwhakahaere for Te Roopu Pounamu will be running a session for local Branch Members on the support we can offer the Māori Campaign from our local Branch. This is a very exciting opportunity to find out more about what you can do to help in practical and tangible ways.

Come along prepared to be engaged, to learn and to commit to local Branch action, in support of the Māori Campaign.

The afternoon session is extended to non-party members, to highlight what the Greens offer Māori, at this time in Aotearoa. Our first big Election Announcement, launched by Marama Davidson, our Co-Leader on Sunday, 28th June was aimed at eliminating poverty.

This is what we’re doing in this Election. We’re taking bold, transformative steps to really make a difference and to highlight what we offer Māori in Aotearoa in 2020. Please tell your friends, and pass on the invitation. Thank you!

Schedule:
10am - 12 noon: Elizabeth will speak to the branch members in the morning session about the Māori campaign and the support that is needed from all the GP Branches (members only).

12.30 - 2pm: Shared kai - OPEN TO ALL

2 - 4pm: The afternoon session will be open to all, and Elizabeth will be talking to people who are not members about the party, and why they should vote for the Green Party. With a particular focus on what the party will offer Māori.

Please RSVP, or contact Suzanne Menzies-Culling [email protected] | 021 162 3548 or Oli Aylen[email protected] for more information.
