The Copyright (Parody and Satire) Amendment Bill seeks to protect the use of parody and satire within New Zealand copyright law - making sure artists are able poke fun at politicians, or expose the irony in the pretensions of composers, artists and the like.

Join Green list MP Kahurangi Carter and local co-hosts Soyboy Tom, Andrew Gunn and Whakataki Times, for a fun and snappy event focused on writing submissions in support of the bill.

  • When: Saturday 16th May, 4pm - 5pm
  • Where: Little Andromeda Theatre, Level 1/134 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011

The venue has wheelchair-accessible entrances, bathroom facilities and lifts.
