It’s decision time in Palmerston North. Your vote in the Council by-election will shape our city’s future, tipping the balance on decisions impacting the health and wellbeing of our people and the local environment.

I’m Vanessa Rozenberg, an experienced Scout leader and childcare supervisor. I’ve invested five years studying community health and wellbeing outcomes at Massey, earning my Master of Health Science.

Enjoying nature from the city has been a key element of my life, with regular adventurous journeys into the wild. I love spending time in nature, and will strive to ensure that same opportunity is there for future generations.

Today, I’m calling for urgent local action on our housing and climate crises. Through strong political leadership at Council, Palmerston North can lead by example on these challenges, creating positive social and environmental change.

For real progress, we need to work together, which is where you come in! Green campaigns are led and supported by people who wear their heart on their sleeve and advocate for a better world.
