Personal stories help us connect with others because they create a sense of shared humanity, allowing people to see themselves in our experiences. When we share these experiences, we don't just explain what inspires us, we can also inspire others to take action. We can show how change is possible, and make abstract ideas relatable.
In this workshop, we'll go over some of the ways we can tell our own stories in powerful, structured ways.
We'll ask questions to get us all thinking about what sparked each of us to show up on an issue we care about.
There will be small group work and sharing back to the full rōpū for those who feel comfortable doing that.
Date: Sunday July 6th
Time: 10am – 11:30am
Venue: TBC
The workshop will be facilitated by Green Party co-leader Marama Davidson, supported by our Green MPs Lan Pham and Scott Willis.
Kai and stationery will be provided.
