We would love for you to join us in Pōneke-Wellington for a public meeting about NZTA’s major roading plans for the city.

NZTA is proposing to spend up to $3.8 billion on a plan that includes two new tunnels – one through Mt Victoria and the other under The Terrace.

We’ve both spoken out against the proposal and are concerned about the shortness of the public feedback period, which closes on December 14.

As a result, we are holding a public meeting at 7pm on Tuesday December 2 at St Joseph’s (42 Ellice St) in Mt Victoria.

It will be an opportunity to hear what’s going on and what’s at stake. There will be a line-up of expert speakers and we’re hoping it will help to generate lots of useful feedback to NZTA. Please spread the word and we hope to see you there!

If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch and we will do our utmost to accommodate.

Please help us keep our people-powered campaign healthy – do not attend if you are sick and please RAT ahead of events if you have symptoms of Covid-19.
