I am a Green Party MP, environmental advocate, and community leader who is passionate about the future of Christchurch and the people who call it home.
I am a familiar face across Christchurch Central, and I believe the city should be a place where everyone can afford to live well, feel connected to their community, and access the support they need to thrive.
Since entering Parliament in 2023, I have focused on issues that matter to Christchurch communities, including mental health, housing, child wellbeing, disability rights, climate resilience, and the cost of living. I chair the cross-party inquiry into mental health and have been a strong advocate for better support for children, young people, and whānau.
Before entering Parliament, I worked across education, environmental advocacy, and community wellbeing, including roles connected to Kōhanga Reo, the Ministry for the Environment, and Para Kore, where I supported sustainability and waste minimisation initiatives across Aotearoa.
I'm a māmā with deep values around community and care. I believe Christchurch has the potential to continue growing into one of the most liveable, creative, and connected cities in Aotearoa, with strong public services, affordable housing, thriving local communities, and climate action at its heart.
I love Christchurch and the people that call it home, and I believe together we can truly cement it as the best city in Aotearoa.
