I am standing as a candidate for the Green Party of Aotearoa because of my commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, an inclusive society and social justice. As a kaiako over the last nine years and union leader for the last three, I have advocated for tamariki, educators and our rainbow communities. We need to ensure that we uphold the humanity and dignity of all in our society and truly listen to affected communities. Tamariki are the future of Aotearoa and we need to champion a better, equitable future where people and planet can thrive together.
