I have 18 years experience as a local government elected member, the most recent 6 as Councillor for Manurewa-Papakura. As Deputy Chair of the Planning Committee and Chair of the Community Committee, my priorities were to deliver on Auckland's Climate Action, Homelessness, Transport Emission Reduction, and Maori Outcomes Action Plans.

I joined the Green Party prior to the 2023 election. The Green principles in the founding document firmly align with my personal values that I bring to policy and political decision making.

I believe in the Green Budget 100%.  I'm a member of PICT, Green Women and Rural Greens.
