Environmental advocate from Port Waikato, experienced in frontline volunteering, solidarity activism, and urban resilience-focused climate adaptation policy leadership.

Carl Morgan (he/him) Port Waikato

I grew up in the coastal village of Port Waikato, where I was privileged to form a deep connection to the natural world and understand the importance of community.

I’ve spent over a decade in the volunteer first-response movement, including a perspective-altering time in the Mediterranean with Refugee Rescue, shaping my sense of service and solidarity.

I’ve dedicated the last several years to environmental advocacy, and hold a postgraduate certificate in Geography with a focus on urban resilience. I am passionate about climate adaptation that serves both people and the planet, and I’m committed to building resilient, inclusive, thriving communities.
