I’m standing for the Green Party because I believe everyone deserves a fair go, the chance to get ahead and to support their family. Agriculture has taught me that you have to be honest about what’s happening in front of you. I’ve milked cows, experienced hardship, and built a life through farming. I’ve seen the dream of economic security become harder for many people, and I’ve seen the pressures our environment is under. As farmers, we know ignoring problems doesn’t make them disappear, we have to face them, adapt, and be part of the solution. I want to be part of a government that understands what matters to everyday people. The ability to provide for your family, live in strong communities, and leave a healthy environment for the next generation.
