Michel Mulipola (he/him/they/them) Māngere

"E vave taunu’u le malaga pe a tatou alo va’a fa’atasi" – Our destiny is within sight when we paddle our canoe together.

I am just a humble paddler in the va'a that is Māngere. The community of Māngere is a big part of who I am, it is where I was born and raised, it is home. South Auckland has always been hit the hardest when it comes to unemployment, health outcomes, cost of living and harmful legislation. As the Māngere candidate, I'm excited to collaborate with the community to create collective solutions so everyone can live with dignity.
