I am standing as a candidate because I believe climate action can improve everyday life for people across Aotearoa. As an Information and Sustainability Manager, I work on practical, evidence‑based solutions that cut carbon, reduce waste, and will help communities thrive through a fair transition.

Climate issues are cost of living issues. They affect household costs, health, and resilience. Affordable, safe, warm, dry homes lower power bills and improve wellbeing. Cleaner transport saves families money while strengthening our energy security. Investing in local renewable energy creates jobs, reduces national infrastructure costs, and builds resilience in the face of rising price shocks and increasing climate-driven severe weather events.

I believe early, decisive action and investment delivers better outcomes than delay. By protecting our whenua, moana, and air, we can create a healthier environment, lower long‑term costs, and ensure future generations inherit a more equitable and prosperous Aotearoa.
